Seeking Wisdom
Seeking wisdom from the Father has been a prayer and focus of ours ever since we got married. We recognized very early on that without God given wisdom we would falter and fail over and over again not only in our marriage, but also in our lives.
This plea for wisdom has become even stronger in the past few months as we are looking to the future and trying to determine God’s plan for our family and ministry. My daily prayer has been for wisdom and unity. So I take great heart in Daniel’s proclamation of God in the second chapter of the book bearing his name.
Daniel 2:20-21
Daniel said, “Let the name of God be blessed forever and ever, For wisdom and power belong to Him. “It is He who changes the times and the epochs; He removes kings and establishes kings; He gives wisdom to wise men And knowledge to men of understanding.
My God, my Savior, My Protector, My Loving Father is in complete control, and He gives wisdom to those who seek Him and work to build His Kingdom. So it is with great excitement and anticipation that we forge onward this day into the new adventure and direction that He gives, knowing that we can be in no greater place than His perfect will.
Please pray that He will bless us with a full revelation of His wisdom as we seek His face in the days to come.
