Close but no Cigar
For the first few years of our church’s existence we have used electronic drums. This decision was made mainly due to the size of our meeting room, and the make up of our congregation. They worked great for controlling the sound level, but always lacked a little authenticity.
So today we took a giant leap forward. We setup our new acoustic drum set and sound booth. We still meet in a fairly small and lively room which makes sound levels still a concern. Still as we worked and tweaked everything I think we got a setup that will work. I am so excited to have real drums in our worship times. The dynamic contrasts and tone clarity that you can achieve with an acoustic drum set is just so much better than a electronic set. Don’t get me wrong I am grateful for what we have had up to this point, but i am even more grateful that God has blessed us now with resources and abilities to have the real McCoy.
So for all you Edenites get ready for a brand new look and sound tomorrow in worship.
–Wholly Surrender!
